Section 1: Applying for the Director & Employer Role
For private companies or entities:
One director must apply for the Director role in their MyTax account. The approval usually takes 1-3 working days, and once approved, the Employer role will be automatically assigned.
Here's a step-by-step guide to help with the process:
- Head over to https://mytax.hasil.gov.my/ and log in to your account.

- Click on the profile icon at the top right.

- Go to the 'Role Application'.
- Set 'Type of Application' as 'New Application'.
- Set 'Type of Role' as 'Directors of The Company' and repeat the steps for the 'Employer' role.
- Enter your organisation's TIN (Tax Identification Number).
- Upload the following documents as supporting documents:
- Enterprise: SSM with personal details (2-3 pages)
- Sdn Bhd: SSM Superform (Section 14)
- Click on the checkbox and press 'Submit'.

- Once you've submitted the application, just sit back and relax. It will take around 1-3 working days for processing. The status will change from 'New' to 'Accepted' once your application is approved.

Section 2: Appointing MTD Administrator
Here's a step-by-step guide to help with the process:
- Head over to https://mytax.hasil.gov.my/.
- Choose your ID type and key in your ID No & Password then proceed to login.

- In 'Role Selection', choose 'Employer' as your role.
- Choose your desired company name.

- Make sure the chosen role and company name are correct.
- Click on the profile icon at the top right.

- Go to 'MTD Administrator'.
- Enter the Identification Number (IC No) of the person representing as an administrator.
- Press 'Submit'.

- The system will then display the information of the representative.
- After confirming the information of the representative being correct, press 'Submit'.
- After successfully adding a new representative, their information along with other activated representatives' will be displayed at the bottom of the system.
